MJ GOLD

The MJ Gold program is patterned after the training philosophy of MJP Founder and President Michael Johnson. This program, with an emphasis on improving SPEED, AGILITY, POWER AND STAMINA, is designed to improve the athleticism of the high school prep or college prep athlete with a busy schedule. The two-day-per-week format allows dedicated athletes to do sport-specific training with their school or club sport coaches in conjunction with quality performance training at Michael Johnson Performance. This package is perfect for the athlete trying to peak for his or her sport season.

LEARN TO TRAIN

The Learn to Train program was created for athletes ages 9 to 11 who are interested in improving their overall athleticism. The program is designed to introduce all components of athletic training in a positive learning environment. Drills and applications are used to teach skills, while keeping athletes attentive and maximizing effort. Athletes should come away from this program with improved athleticism and a positive attitude toward training.

SPEED SCHOOL

Speed School is designed to accommodate an athlete's busy schedule and is for youth athletes ages 12 to 18, to learn the techniques and mechanics of speed. With a focus on linear and multi-directional speed, athletes will train once per week on the efficient movement patterns necessary to make faster cuts, have a more explosive first step and improve their straight ahead speed.

MJ SIGNATURE

The MJ Signature program is designed for the dedicated athlete who wants to dominate his or her competition in the same way that Michael Johnson did. This program delivers the highest training stimulus and return on investment of time of all MJP youth programs. Athletes benefit from three days per week of coaching over the course of a six week period to improve SPEED, AGILITY, STRENGTH, POWER and STAMINA. The addition of a nutritional consultation also gives the athlete a distinct advantage, developing knowledge of how to eat for athletic improvement and maximize recovery between training sessions.
