Lorenzo Vite, PT

After completing his physical therapy education from Texas Women's University, Lorenzo began practicing physical therapy in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. He has been involved in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine since 1990.

Lorenzo's manual therapy skills were developed as a teaching assistant to former Texas Women's University instructor Jerry Lee, P.T., D.C. Lorenzo is a Graston Certified provider.

He has served as a clinical instructor for physical therapy interns and presented lectures to coaches, athletes, and professional organizations on various topics, such as, shoulder, knee, and ankle. Since 1993, Lorenzo has served as physical therapist sports medicine consultant to Highland Park High School. The highlight of that association was witnessing Highland Park win the Texas 4A State Football Championship in 2005.

In addition, he is a recognized member of USA Gymnastics - National Health Care and Sports Science Referral Network. This distinction set by the National Sport Science and Health Care Board of Consultants identified Lorenzo as having met the criteria, in the field of physical therapy, to provide health care services for gymnastics athletes. At competition venues from local – optional, to national – J.O. National Championships, to Visa Championships in Dallas, Lorenzo has assessed and provided advice to gymnasts.

Lorenzo practices sports physical therapy within the Michael Johnson Performance Center (MJP) at Craig Ranch, McKinney, TX where high school, collegiate, professional, and elite world class athletes are rehabilitated along an integrated performance enhancement method.

Lance Walker, Performance Director, PT

Lance is a registered physical therapist in the State of Texas and has been practicing sports physical therapy for nearly 15 years. His career experiences have included assignments with professional clubs, collegiate athletic programs, and elite high school athletic departments.

Lance received his physical therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In addition to his clinical roles, he has also served the academic side of the allied health profession at the University of Oklahoma as an adjunct professor, guest lecturer, and published researcher.

Combined with his nearly 20 years of performance training experience, Lance specializes in the return-to-sport phases of rehabilitation, preventative training prescription, and spine stabilization progressions. He currently works closely with the Dallas Stars and FC Dallas professional sports teams, with in season player evaluations and corrective exercise prescriptions. Lance is a renownedinternational lecturer, speaking on topics such as spine safety in strength training, biomechanics of human performance, and youth training systems for long-term athletic development.
